Life has its ups and downs, but the trick is to keep your sunny side up.

In April 2022 I joined a fundraising trek from the Dead Sea to Petra, in Jordan with Dream Challenges. I raised over £4,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity. You can follow my journey here where I blogged about my adventures.

I love stories about relationships and stories about landscape and I try to fuse the two in my writing. I write flash fiction and short stories as well as longer form.

In 2022 my novel The Tide-Watcher’s Secret was longlisted in the Cheshire Novel Prize and I am now seeking representation.

I also write creative non-fiction and memoir, exploring nature and its impact on my world.

When I’m not writing, I’m often walking with my rescue greyhound, Molly.
